9. Correction of Personal Information

 

We may correct, add, or delete the contents of personal information  on the grounds that the personal information is false, in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act. If a customer requests correction, addition, or deletion of his/her personal information, we will comply, after confirming that the request is authentic. We will investigate, without delay, to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use and, based on the results, correct the personal information and notify the customer to that effect. (If we decide not to make a correction, we will notify the customer as well). However, this shall not apply in cases where we are not obligated to make such corrections under the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws and regulations.

 

10. Suspension of Use of Personal Information

 

We may suspend the use of or delete personal information according to the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act on the grounds that said information is beyond the scope of the purpose of use or that it has been obtained through deception or other wrongful means. If requested to suspend the use of personal information, we will confirm the authenticity of the request, suspend the use of the personal information without delay, and notify the customer to that effect. However, this does not apply to cases in which we are not obligated to suspend the use of personal information under the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws and regulations.
